Who We Are
A Muslim sports organization built on faith, forged through competition, and growing across Western Massachusetts.
Our Mission
TO FOSTER UNITY AND STRENGTHEN THE BONDS OF THE UMMAH THROUGH SPORT AND COMMUNITY.
RHM began as an inspired vision shared by three devoted individuals who saw a gap in our community — a place where Muslim athletes could compete, connect, and grow in faith together.
From those early conversations, Reuniting Hearts of Muslims emerged as a force for connection across Western Massachusetts. We organize leagues, tournaments, pickup games, and community events that bring the ummah together in a spirit of brotherhood and healthy competition.
Our mission is not simply to run sports leagues. It is to create a space where Muslim identity and athletic ambition are not in conflict — where you can show up fully as both a believer and a competitor, and where every game is also an act of community building.
We believe the deen calls us to strengthen our bonds, and we believe sport is one of the most powerful tools for doing exactly that.
What started as a humble gathering of brothers with a shared love of the game has grown into something historic. RHM now hosts New England's largest Muslim basketball tournament — an event that draws teams from across the region, uniting athletes in faith and competition under one roof.
Every year the tournament grows. Every year new friendships are forged, new memories made, and the ummah of Western Massachusetts grows stronger. This is not just a tournament — it is a statement that our community thrives, competes, and belongs.
The anniversary of RHM's first tournament marks more than a milestone on a calendar. It marks the moment our community decided to show up for itself — and has never stopped since.
